As I advance into my foraging adventures and education, I am learning just how many types of clover there are on our property. The typical red, and white clover that most are familiar with, then the rabbit's foot clover that comes up after the first cycle of red clover is done, and now this: the round-headed bush clover. These grow tall, 3-4'. The green heads with turn into beautiful colors soon enough, but I do like them green, as you notice the texture more.

The first thing I discovered when beginning to read this little gem of a book, was not only hadn't I considered where many common sayings come from, but my preconceived idea of their origin was actually wrong! Kinda embarrassing, but guessing I may not be alone in this. I thought it would be of value then to share some tidbits from this book.
