I suppose the term "open house" can have associations with one selling their house, some would consider it more of a housewarming. At any rate, its for all the people and craftsmen who helped with the build, plus friends and family.
I'm not going too overboard with food- it's a 3-hour event and some people won't stay long, but I certainly want to offer a variety of homemade goodies. Tonight I made two things on my list: Hummus, and double chocolate walnut cookie dough.
Tommorow I will make quiche bites, and do the prep for the fruit platter, strawberry/blueberry, cream cheese morsels. And bake the cookies.😋😋
