Since my last update, I have been painting the walls, one coat of primer, two coats of color. I moved the 8 base cabinets into their places, as well.
Next up, countertops.
I'll put the sink in(but not plumb it yet) and finalize the placement of the base cabinets. Then I will cut out the countertops by cutting 3/4 birch plywood sheets in half lengthwise, then to length, and paint them. (Rustoleum oil-based enamel in royal blue)
After they are cured, I'll attach them to the base cabinets.
Next step after that is to install the ceiling grid system. There's an L- frame that goes around the perimeter of the wall, so that gets screwed in first. Figure I can just stand on the countertops rather than dragging the ladder around.
