It's actually more than a retainer. I have one tooth in the front that has always wanted to recede back a little bit. It bothers me. 🙂 So it's like a retainer with a purpose beyond just keeping your teeth the way they are.
I used Instamorph. It comes as little balls, you pour them into hot water, then it comes together and you mold it into various shapes. I used a rolling pin to flatten it to a thin sheet. I had to repeat the process of 1. Hot water 2. Roll and 3. Trim, a few times.
