Rice paper rolls are great for showing off colorful, foraged flowers against a backdrop of jasmine rice.
To flavor the rice, I add salt, honey, and chopped fresh mint. The ground meat filling should be flavorful, spicy(I used leftover from my meatball mix that hadn't been cooked), and chopped pecans add a bit of crunch.
You could drizzle a spicy sauce on top for an extra kick.
Cook rice while cooking meat.
Prep your work area with a pie plate full of warm water, and your flowers on a cutting board.
When rice is ready, add honey, rice and mint, and scoop some of the meat into a separate small bowl.
Submerge rice disc into water for several seconds, then place onto cutting board.
Lay flowers, then a bit of rice, pecans, and meat.
Fold sides, fold back up and toward you, then wrap front over and roll.
Enjoy right away!
