I hate the floor.
It was supposed to look so great, but it looks terrible. Some of them are greyed out, and they don't sell border pieces, so you have to cut all the edges to be flush. All the pictures they show have borders... so mad. This flooring was very expensive, about $400 for a small area.
Anyways, over it. I returned only one package to Lowe's, as Luci had chewed up all the other boxes. 😀 She's worth it. I'll bring them to my work studio and put them down as flooring. It's mostly covered with rugs, but I can always use the extra insulation for the wintertime.
So I picked out this other stuff.

For the most part we just don't ponder the origin of commonplace expressions because they are... common. The first thing I discovered when beginning to read this little gem of a book, was not only hadn't I considered where many common sayings come from, but my preconceived idea of their origin was actually wrong! Kinda embarrassing, but guessing I may not be alone in this. I thought it would be of value then to share some tidbits from this book. Audio format is nice, as you can multitask while listening to this. This is my first attempt at recording reading a book, so any constructive criticism is welcome!
